Meet the Adult Pairs, Catalina, Santa Cruz & Santa Rosa Nests
The Pelican Harbor pair K10 & K26 after inspecting the damaged nest in a tree that the biologists said was dying, decided to move their nest. It was too late to get a camera to their new location. There is some hope that might happen for the 2012 season.
2006: A49 "Cruz", the first chick hatched in the wild on the Channel Islands since 1949 2007: A63 "Limuw" (deceased Aug. 2007 ) 2008: A64 "Spirit" and A65 "Skye"(deceased Aug. 2008 ) 2009: two chicks hatched but each one passed away approximately 3 days after hatching 2010: A69 "Malik" and A68 "Braveheart" |
